The SMO38HP-2 is a high-performance forced air oven with rugged, welded construction, a double-walled, corrosion-resistant stainless-steel interior, and a powder-coated exterior. It is engineered to meet critical temperature requirements for continuous drying operations up to 260°C. Key features include user-adjustable integrated overtemperature protection, a Watlow PM9 Plus controller with 4×10 step heat up and soak capability, 1°C control, and multiple operator access levels. It has a dual three-digit LED readout for process temperature and setpoint. Horizontal airflow and powerful heating elements ensure uniform heating, fast heat-up, and rapid recovery. Twin turbo blowers continuously circulate heated air and prolong motor life. Punched stainless steel shelves are height adjustable. Adjustable three-inch diameter air intake and exhaust ports allow for fast drying of high-moisture content samples. The oven features 3.5-inch-thick wrap-around fiberglass insulation for minimal heat loss and improved electrical efficiency.
